Go Deeper:
How might Jesus be showing His presence in the most mundane and humble parts of my life? Am I able to welcome Him into these places, take Him into my arms, and praise Him, even when it’s hard?
What parts of my life am I taking for granted? What message does God have for me in the everyday moments that I may not even stop to consider?
Is there something for which I am waiting in my life? How might I prayerfully increase my patience and be ready to welcome it, even if it comes in an unexpected way?

Liturgy of the Hours
Simeon’s words
“Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in the sight of all the peoples: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel,”
are spoken every night during the Liturgy of the Hours. Consider making this prayer a part of your evening routine, or even pray the whole Liturgy of the Hours in communion with the Universal Church.
